Whenever Phil and I have to go anywhere, it is a rarity that I drive. He loves driving, and I love being the passenger. So I am always searching for an excellent spot to take pictures and consistently making Phil turn around so I can scope it out. Since I have lived in this area nearly my whole life, there are still beautiful places I never knew we here. Phil and I are explorers at heart, always ready to climb new mountains, but Maryland is our roots and foundation.
I love to take shots of my locations and know where the sun will be before the shoot. Everyone has their style and how they like their images to look and feel. If you don't know much about me, I am a sucker for color. I am partial to my favorites like everyone is, and the way these yellow flowers looked in this beautiful tall grassy field, I knew I had found the perfect spot for my lovely friend Rachel's shoot.
Rachel is yet another dear friend who has stuck by my side for over 17 years now. This girl was the kid who saw me sitting alone at lunch and invited me to join her and her friends. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have made the friends I still have to this day. Thank you, Rae Bug; I wouldn't be who I am today without you.
